Shark Kiss, Octopus Hug

“In which a Shark and Octopus invade everyone’s personal space.”

Shark Kiss, Octopus Hug by Lynn Rowe Reed is story of two sea creatures who will do anything for a little affection. Like that Kraken in Clash of the Titans. You know, his dates would have been a lot more successful if he took them to, instead of eating them for, dinner.

Early on in the concept phase, I explored a drastically different style than the look the final art took on. Every now and then I think it'd be fun to go back and realize some of those rough spreads in color.
