New In Town
“In which the fabulous Mortimer Gulch narrowly escapes a town of perfidious ingrates!”
The town of Puddletrunk was like any other town. Good schools. Strong, sturdy chimneys. Stranded in the wasteland, encircled by a depthless chasm. Luckily, the folk of Puddletrunk had the fabulous Mr. Mortimer Gulch to help keep their bridges sturdy and their pockets clean! It was a beautiful arrangement! Until one miserable day… when a cold-hearted repairman entered town and dashed the whole scheme— ooh, partnership, I mean to say—to bits! A terrible, terrible day! A curse upon that repairman, and his terrible tale— New In Town, by Kevin Cornell, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Away I go, away, to the Deadly Was!

Virtual Storytimes
I did four virtual storytimes for the New In Town book tour, and the recorded versions are available below! As well as giving a dramatic reading of my book, I gave a lesson in dramatic drawing at each storytime (and answered quite a few questions about how to draw in general). Please enjoy!
DOWNLOADABLE GOODIES: Good news! The 8-Step Guide to Dramatic Drawing I used during my tour is available below! And, what's this? The coloring pages I made are still available too! Just download, print, and color! So much drama! Don't overdo it if you don't have smelling salts on hand!
